Laura Keaton

Founder + CEO

Laura incorporated Keaton Consulting in 1997 to work as a free-lance consultant in test automation. (Had she known that her company was going to scale and thrive for over 25 years, she would have worked a bit harder on a more compelling name.)

She has led consulting teams in over 1,000 engagements ranging from training, to worldwide CoE implementations. She has focused her career on adding value and making customers successful IT Delivery Optimization and Quality Engineering.

The K.C. Journey

1998

KC began as a team of certified software test automation consultants that delivered top quality training and QuickStarts for Mercury Interactive's Professional Services Organization. Our delivery was rated the best overall by Mercury PSO due to our background in software quality assurance and our passion for all things in test automation.

2002

On the heels of functional test bed architectures was the powerful technology of performance testing and system optimization.  The team evolved to support protocol layer testing with system monitoring and results analysis with great feedback from clients.  KC began to support long term program initiatives and large-scale system testing.

2006

Clients began to hand over entire practices for test automation delivery. The KC team implemented best practices and automation not simply for testing, but for environment preparation, data validation and reporting activities.  Due to our delivery methodology and activity automation, we were able to scale productivity and value to our customers.

2020

We are now branching into all aspects of IT Delivery with new technologies and techniques to meet the adoption of best practices we have perfected over the years. We are now sharing our expertise with IT Leadership, Business Stakeholders, and Operational Teams to effectively automate and manage delivery pipelines with engineering strategies that are optimized for complex systems.
